Security principles

  1. Users of the Site should ensure the security of their devices that access the Internet. The device should have an anti-virus program with an up-to-date virus definition database, an up-to-date and secure version of the Internet browser, and a firewall enabled.
  2. It is recommended to enable anti-phishing filters (tools) in the browser that check whether the displayed website is authentic and not used for phishing, such as by impersonating an institution or a particular business entity.
  3. Caution is advised when opening attachments or clicking on links in e-mails that the User was not expecting, e.g. from unknown senders. If in doubt, it is worth contacting the sender, for example, by phone.
  4. Files should only be downloaded from trusted sites. It is highly risky to install software from unverified sources.
  5. The Site User using a home Wi-Fi network should set a secure and hard-to-crack password to access the network. It is also recommended to use the highest possible Wi-Fi encryption standards that are possible to run on the User’s device, such as WPA2.
